I offer an ever growing selection of funky handmade clothing. The most popular items in the shop are leggings, dresses, and hoodies, I also have a range of breast-feeding, cloth bum and baby-wearing friendly garments to!
Exciting new fabric prints are chosen a good few times a year, which I offer up in a variety of different Loved Garms for you to choose from. I have a mixture of ready-made and pre-order items available in my shop, the latter gives the opportunity for small sizing tweaks where needed.
I’ve ordered, what happens next?
Each item is individually cut out by hand and then pieced together on my industrial overlocker. If they need hemming, I have an awesome machine that does that does that too. I have a seamstress that works with me in busier times so I can keep up with demand.
Typically, pre-order items take two weeks for me to process, sometimes I’m on fire and this is greatly reduced, although school holidays and seasonal demand sometimes mean it can take me up to four weeks.
Once sewn, items are checked over and pressed ready to pack up for posting. Items are lovingly wrapped up in tissue paper and then packaged up in kraft paper mail bags and sent out via Royal Mail. The packaging can then be re-used or recycled, which is great for the environment.
Doing my bit
While we are talking about the environment, I also use my fabric scraps to make small accessories and reusable items. I sell scrap bags on the Loved Garms Lounge Facebook group and donate smaller bits to local schools, anything left goes to textile recycling. I only use fabrics with a minimum STANDARD 100 by OEKO–TEX®. Which is one of the world’s best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety.

Hi there! I’m Hannah, the busy mum behind the label Loved Garms. You’ll typically find me getting creative in my sewing studio, but I also love taking all the product photos and hanging out with my customers online too.
I’ve been running my Bournemouth based sewing business since 2016 when my youngest turned one, learning along the way. I love sewing easy care clothes with bright colours and funky patterns. What I enjoy the most is creating confident feel-good vibes with my clothes.
I love playing with different patterns and colours. You’ll notice I love all things bold, funky and different. Since I’m a country girl at heart my fabric choices are often nature inspired, be it animal prints or botanical although I love a wildcard too!
What motivates me
I’m motivated daily by my passion to sew awesome clothing that makes people feel good, creating clothes that suit people’s personality. I also love building a sustainable clothing brand that has a beneficial impact on our world.
