It matters to me, and the planet that we all make a concious effort to reduce what goes to landfill. If everyone made small changes towards zero waste we can conserve more of our natural resources and reduce pollution from extraction, manufacturing and disposal.
From reusable wipes made using my fabric scraps, to funky handmade accessories for adults and children made from my remnants, this is where I channel my zero waste efforts. Anything I can’t use is either sold in scrap bags, gifted to schools and clubs. And as a last resort, sent to the textile recycling bank, nothing goes to landfill.
