Rekindling My Passion for Sewing After a Summer of Managing Ladybird Garden Services

After a busy summer of running my gardening business, Ladybird Garden Services, the nights are drawing in and it’s time to get back to sewing for Loved Garms Clothing. To jump-start my sewing journey and give me drive and focus, I’ve committed to running a pop-up shop at the Southcoast Makers Market in Bournemouth until Christmas Eve.

I’m thrilled to be back behind the sewing machine, crafting both ready-made and made-to-order clothing until the arrival of spring. If you drop by the website you can explore the range of garments I have available, with a special focus on our “Tough Love Workout Leggings” in the active wear category, which is the star of the show with six fabric options! While the selection might be a bit limited in terms of fabric options for other garments at the moment, I’ll be replenishing my inventory as soon as sales start flowing in from the pop-up shop. Be sure to check out the deliciously soft purple alpine fleece or the timeless paisley sweater knit though, I suggest a cosy cowl dress for sure!!! Or maybe mystery items where I will dive into my offcut box? Your support with the pop up shop will be instrumental in allowing me to expand and diversify my fabric choices.

In the meantime, I have some fantastic Aztec wool-blend fabric that I’d love to show you in the Loved Garms Lounge Facebook group, and I’ll also be creating unique, one-of-a-kind designs using the surplus remnants and hidden gems from my fabric stash.

If you’re a local resident, make sure to swing by the South Coast Makers market in Bournemouth pop-up before Christmas Eve to explore my latest ready-to-wear creations โ€“ they make perfect gifts for your loved ones or a special treat for yourself this holiday season. I have had so much fun creating a mini collection to showcase at the pop up, you can find Southcoast Makers Market upstairs in the Avenue in Bournemouth (the old Sports Direct shop).
